All through my neighbourhood people are dressing up their houses for Halloween. There are ghosts hanging from trees, skeletons nailed to the door, cobwebs on the hedges and lots and lots of ribbons of yellow and black Do-Not-Enter tape strung around.
It’s gotten me in the spirit and so I started looking around on Etsy for some great ways to dress up the front porch this year.
Here are few of my favourite finds and ideas:
Spooky Gallery Wall
Replace the gallery wall photos in the entryway with these scary family images from photographer and mixed media artist Mari Lowery.
Set out assorted containers of ickiness on the front porch styled with these awesome labels from Jen Allyson. Be sure to label the candy bowl, too!
A Ghostly Path
Then line the front walk with these paper lanterns from Nina Mink and fill them with tea lights.
What will you be doing to welcome trick-or-treaters this Halloween?
